WALES WONHWADO
Public Group active 6 months, 1 week agoWONHWADO – The Way of Harmonious Circular Motion
“As I was changing my heart to conform to God’s love, I also strengthened my body so that I could fulfill my mission. I wanted to be ready to go anywhere, anytime God called on me. I played soccer and did boxing, some traditional Korean martial arts, and WONHWADO, a form of martial arts that I developed. In WONHWADO the athlete moves his body in a smooth circular motion, almost as in a dance. It is based on the principle that greater power comes from circular motion than moving in a straight line.” – True Father: ‘As A Peace-Loving Global Citizen’ – chapter 8: New Vision For Youth.

Most of you probably didn’t know that our Studio was flooded 2 weekends ago! It was quite a shock for all of us, but luckily none of our equipment suffered since none of it was completely immersed in the water! The first thing to do, was remove as much of everything as we could and turn [...] -
Simon Cooper wrote a new blog post: being part of a bigger community 11 months, 2 weeks ago
At 43LG we did something different for our evening service last Sunday. We went to join Askew Rd Church in Hammersmith (Methodist & United Reformed) for the rededication of their building which has just had a £1.2 million pound refurbishment. We heard about the building’s history and about the long journey that was taken to get to the point [...] -

It just hit me yesterday late afternoon how our music ministry band has become such an important part of our worship and general community culture here at 43LG. Chalk it up as another great family Summer Camp! A hundred and thirty people met up for the annual event everyone’s talking about. Ranging in age from four months to seventy- something, it was a chance for us all to get together for some ‘heartistic exercise’ in Belchamps Scout Camp near Southend-on-sea. With the theme of [...] -
